We Care ~ Food Pantry
St. John Food Pantry is open to the public on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 9am - 11am! We all fall on hard times, sometimes. It may be difficult to reach out and ask for help. Here At St. John Lutheran, we do our best to help ease the struggle. We accommodate families of all sizes through personal consultation, as well as walk in visitors. Feel free to drop by or contact us by phone, in advance. We are blessed by, and grateful for those who contribute to this mission. You make it possible for us to provide nutrition to those in need. Fresh Start Initiative
St. John Lutheran Church recently had the opportunity to work with HARP, in Cincinnati Ohio collecting donations for their “House-In-A-Box” mission project benefiting a battered women’s shelter. We were so successful and had so much fun that we decided to adopt the mission as our own. Our “Fresh Start Boxes” include everything Kitchen and Bath, benefiting local sheltered families ready for a new start! This mission helps to fray the costs of much needed items and ease transitioning.
Annual Flea Market
Each year, St. John Lutheran Church hosts their annual flea market. Various vendors take part in selling their wares alongside St. John and the countless donations that come in to support the success of the event. Monies from the sale help to fray the daily operational expenses, allowing us to provide ministries to others through the generous giving of our members. Throughout the year, the Mini-Flea Market remains open with constantly changing merchandise. Folks may call ahead to arrange a convenient time to stop in and check it out!
